A tantárgy oktatási célja és rövid tartalma Since its establishment in 1948, the state of Israel has been an interesting scene of many events and developments. The State of Israel - a unique model in political, social, cultural and economical aspects – attracts a lot of attention and provides many issues for studies and research. The course aims at providing the student with a comprehensive base knowledge of the contemporary state of Israel. The different lectures will be given mainly by Israeli professors and experts from various universities and institutions and would cover wide range of issues in order to provide the student with an opportunity to understand better the different developments in Israel and in the Middle-East. The course offers, alongside overview of the political issues, an in depth glance into Israel`s contemporary economy, culture, society, domestic politics, relations with the EU and strategic environment.
